Faith Community Church (FCC) has moved its office to 944 Carmichael Road in Hudson – the former Central Bank location. This location will serve as both a temporary church office, as well as a training center in support of the church’s mission of discipleship. The new FCC Office and Training Center is conveniently located near the church’s main facility, which is just about a block away at 777 Carmichael Road.

In the past few years, FCC’s ministries and outreach to the community have grown.

“We are blessed by the many ways we can serve the St. Croix Valley,” Tim Porter, Pastor for the Mission of FCC, said. “If you drive by FCC any day of the week, you’ll find the parking lot full of cars. We are beyond the capacity of our current facility to meet the needs of our ministry.”

The new FCC Office & Training Center at 944 Carmichael offers two areas for meeting and training space.

“We look forward to adding adult discipleship classes to meet in these spaces,” Porter said.

In support of the growth in its ministries, FCC added a Pastor for Missional Community and other staff roles in the past year. FCC’s pastors and staff began working from the location at 944 Carmichael on Monday, Feb. 11.

“For several months, we have had pastors and staff working where we could fit them in, such as the sound booth, conference rooms and even local coffee shops. We’re excited about the opportunity this move provides to have the pastors and staff working in proximity to one another,” Porter said. “We believe this will enhance the team’s collaboration, cohesiveness and communication as we work together on mission to make more and better disciples of Jesus Christ.”

At the church’s annual meeting in January, a proposed building expansion plan was introduced to its membership.

“We plan to expand FCC’s facility at 777 Carmichael, so we are better equipped with the space needed to support our mission,” Porter explained. “Moving the office staff to a temporary location means the church building will be prepared for the construction phase of the facility expansion project when we are ready for that step in the process.”
