In a field of seven competing coffee shops, Hudson Bagel & Coffee captured 39 percent of the 689 votes cast over the past two weeks, along with 11 positive user comments. Users also left seven glowing reviews on on Patch.
Rick Weber, owner of Hudson Bagel & Coffee Co., said it feels really good to earn the Hudson Patch Readers' Choice Award. Without going into much detail, Weber summed up his secrets to success as "great customers, great coffee, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and free parking."

"HBCC is great for terrific tasting coffee, large delicious bagels with lots of variety, and really tasty sandwiches (handmade with bagel chips on side). They have a fireplace for warm atmosphere and a conference room for meetings. Its a great spot for coffee, breakfast, lunch, and meetings. The owner has a dry sense of humor, his staff is energetic, makes for a very customer service friendly place."
