Hudson DMV Office Burglarized; ID Card Supplies Taken
DMV computer, printer and ID blanks stolen in early morning burglary.
According to Chief Marty Jensen, the office in the St. Croix Business Park was broken into just before 5 a.m. Monday morning when the alarm went off and police responded.
"Persons unknown entered the premises and took a computer and printer used to make driver licenses and ID cards," Jensen said. "A bunch of blanks to make the cards were also taken."
Jensen said it's too early to determine whether the motive for the crime was for illegal immigration purposes, underage consumption purposes or voter fraud purposes.
