PHOTOS: Callista Gingrich Reads to Trinity Students During Hudson Visit

Callista Gingrich, wife of GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich, arrived in Hudson in a Newt 2012 bus. She read her book "Sweet Land of Liberty" to Trinity Academy students as part of her visit.

Callista Gingrich, wife of GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich, visited Hudson on Monday afternoon. She rolled into town in a big Newt 2012 bus with her husband's face on it, making it clear that this was a campaign stop.

Callista Gingrich, along with Ellis the Elephant, read her book "Sweet Land of Liberty" to Trinity Academy students as part of her visit. Ellis is the book's main character. She read it once to a group of first- and second-graders, and again for fourth- and fifth-graders who are studying national and state history.

In addition, students and teachers spent time asking Callista questions before members of the student body presented her with a school T-shirt and thank-you note.
