Things to Do This Weekend: Exotic Dancing for the Ladies
Costume making, trivia and live music are a few options to keep you entertained in Hudson this weekend.
For the Ladies: Valentine Vixen Workshop
Add some spice to this year’s Valentine’s Day—learn an exotic dance routine set to a popular love song this Sunday from noon-1:30 p.m. or 2-3:30 p.m. at Lady Katherine Women’s Fitness.
“I'll be teaching an exotic dance; a strip tease (using) a man’s shirt, set to It’s Hot in Here by Nelly,” dance instructor Katherine Fossler said. “It’s choreographed, so if you ever want to share it with someone special, I give you written instructions.”
Fossler started teaching workshops in pole dancing, exotic dance, chair dance and booty yoga starting in December 2009, when she taught 88 women a burlesque strip tease using gloves, set to the 1953 Christmas song Santa Baby.
Workshop participants are instructed to bring a man's dress shirt—and heels, unless they wish to dance barefoot. The cost is $25 and space is limited. For more information or to sign up, go to http://www.lady-katherine.net/index.html.
