I hi8s promise to created 250,000 private sector jobs in Wisconsin, where does reading to pre-schoolers in Hudson fit in? Perhaps there are better uses of state money and the Gov's time than reading Dick and Jane. Of course, at least he's in Wisconsin and not in Texas shining the shoes of rich donors in hopes of getting a phone call from one of the Koch borthers.

Maybe if you liberals spent less time with your hands out andless time rigging petitions and more time working for what you get you'd realize he's the best Governor in the United States.

Kaiser, could you provide a couple examples where liberals have their hands out? I consider myself liberal, never signed a recall petition and have never asked for a government handout and Walker doesn't strike me as the best governor in the US.
He's actually made so pretty stupid mistakes, besides trying to break the public union's back. He give back the federal funding for the Milwaukee-Madison rail link so another state could get it while Wisconsinites still pay for the funding. Then he comes back later and asks for $80 million to build a couple of trains so the train company doesn't leave the state. Most of the jobs that would have been created with this rail work would have been private sector jobs.
This would have reduced the amount of spin-doctoring he's had to do telling us the jobs are improving while the number of jobs goes down. Voodoo math or doodoo math? Perhaps math wasn't Walker's strong point...

FYI: I'm a hard working independent voter. And I know that his ALEC pals and he are the worst thing that has ever happened to democracy. Corporations have no social conscience--and neither does he. We are watching the ALEC sponsored Wisconsin bills signed into law by this loser ruin lives of endless wonderful citizens in Wisconsin. They could all use one of those good jobs he has promised--and they are all willing workers. For the less fortunate, do you want them in the street? Will you offer them bread and water if they beg? What happens if they have a life-changing illness? Hope they die soon? Where are you people who aren't hard-working independents coming from? Just don't ever say the word Christian (conservative) because we will all have to laugh at that thought.

Is Walker EVER in his Governor's office? Seems like he spends a lot more time out of state finding wealthy donors to his campaign, riding his Harley, and reading to kindergartners. That's a pretty high priced Nanny you got there in Walker. I hope that get's charged back to the parents of those youngsters so no Taxpayer dollars are wasted!

The picture of Walker reading at his grade level reminds me of the picture of Bush the Lesser when he was informed of the attack on the Twin Towers; the largest disaster in the history of the US which occured on his watch.
At least Walker had the book rightside up.

Yes the parents were well aware of his visit. Some of us choose to leave our children out of our political views. They do not understand politics or the issues at hand at this age. Whether you like him or not, it was a great opportunity for the children to meet someone in office. I think it is great that Hudson Kindercare was chosen for the visit.
