The Source, a Hudson nonprofit whose acronym stands for "Serving our underserved residents compassionately and equitably," has been doling out services and suggestions to members of the Hudson community since 2010.

The all-voluneer organization gives out food, clothing and toiletries from its suite in the Hudson Professional Building.

Volunteers also help patrons find "sources" for their needs.

"Last year, Christmas time, some gentleman came in looking for dog food, and we were able to find a source for dog food," said Mary Ellner, a Source volunteer.

Hudson residents interested in donating time or money can call Ellner at 715-386-6093 or 715-386-1300.
