Update: Zach Sobiech’s ‘Clouds’ Rises to No. 1 on iTunes

The musician and Stillwater Area High School student died Monday following a four-year battle with cancer.

"And it went Up, Up, Up!" That's the way Rock the Cause's Facebook post read Wednesday afternoon announcing that Zach Sobiech's single "Clouds" officially reached No. 1 on the iTunes Singles Chart. The proceeds from the sale of "Clouds" and YouTube views benefit the Zach Sobiech Osteosarcoma Fund through the Children's Cancer Research Fund. To date, more than $230,000 has been raised. City of Hudson Announces 2013 Concerts in the Park Schedule

A list of musicians set to play during the 2013 Concerts in the Park series at Lakefront Park in downtown Hudson.

The city of Hudson has announced the schedule for the 2013 Concerts in the Park series that will take place at the Lakefront Park Bandshell in downtown Hudson. All concerts begin at 7 p.m. The City of Hudson reserves the right to make program changes without notice to the public. Concerts that are cancelled due to inclement weather will be rescheduled if possible. Concessions and restrooms are available at the Bath House. If you have questions regarding the Concerts in the Park, call the Hudson Parks Department at (715) 386-4774, ext. 113 or visit the city website at www.ci.hudson.wi.us. Octagon House Museum is Open for 2013 Tour Season

This year’s theme, “One House, One Family, One Hundred Years,” will help guests get acquainted with the four generations of the Moffat-Hughes family who lived in the historic Octagon House.

The Octagon House Museum is open for the 2013 tour season. This year’s theme, “One House, One Family, One Hundred Years,” will help guests get acquainted with the four generations of the Moffat-Hughes family who lived in the historic Octagon House. Those taking the tour will learn about the original owners John and Nancy Moffat, who built the house in1855, all the way to their great-grandchildren 100 years later, according to this post on the St. Croix County Historical Society’s Facebook page. Historical Society Seeks One More Actor (or Actress) for the Cemetery Walk

The historical society is also in need of choir members for the Pearly Gate Singers, and volunteers for tour guides, ticket sales and setup help for the Cemetery Walk on Saturday, June 1.

The St. Croix County Historical Society is seeking one more actor for the Cemetery Walk. “Unfortunately one of our actors is no longer available so we are in need of a replacement,” Jacki Bradham, a volunteer with the Historical Society said. The actor can be either a man or a woman. The historical society is also in need of choir members for the Pearly Gate Singers, and volunteers for tour guides, ticket sales and setup help.  Anyone interested in helping with the Cemetery Walk (or learning more) may contact Jacki Bradham at 715-386-3826 or rbradham@pressenter.com.

Hudson High School Performance of "Rumors" Opens Tonight

Hudson High School's production of the Neil Simon comedy "Rumors" opens tonight with a 7 p.m. performance at the high school auditorium. Six performances are scheduled over the next 10 days.

Peformances are scheduled for the following dates and times: Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults.
