St. Croix EDC will host its fourth annual legislative forum with St. Croix County's state legislators on Tuesday, Dec. 11, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Cashman Conference Center on the WITC-New Richmond campus, 1019 South Knowles Avenue, New Richmond, Wisconsin.

Public and private sector members of St. Croix EDC, along with county residents and businesses are invited to attend and participate. An informal networking session with the legislators runs from 4:30 to 5 p.m., followed by a town hall-style question and answer period from 5 to 6 p.m.

As a result of the legislative redistricting, St. Croix County will have five state representatives and three state senators representing the interests of constituents in Madison starting in January 2013.

In the State Assembly: State Representative Erik Severson represents District 28; State Rep. John Murtha represents District 29; State Rep. Dean Knudson represents District 30; Representative-Elect Stephen Smith represents District 75; and State Rep. Warren Petryk represents District 93.

In the State Senate: State Sen. Sheila Harsdorf represents the 10th Senate District; State Sen. Bob Jauch represents District 25; and State Sen. Kathleen Vinehout represents District 31.

With the exception of Senators Jauch and Vinehout, all of the offices were contested on Nov. 6. The terms for Senators Jauch and Vinehout expire in 2014.
