Friends of the Library presents "The Italian Connection" a film about Thomas St. Angelo: An Unconventional Scholar. This story begins with the St.Angelo family's immigration fromItaly to the Cumberland area andincludes the accident that changedThomas St. Angelo's life. Hiscourage and hard work, plus hisgenerosity and respect for learning,made him a well-regarded citizen ofthe Cumberland area. This led,eventually, to the Cumberlandlibrary choosing to give his name to its beautifully renovated andexpanded library -- the Thomas St.Angelo Public Library.

More About Hudson Area Library
The Hudson Area Library overlooks the St. Croix River with two floors devoted to knowledge and learning. Special areas for teens and children can be found on the second floor of the building, as well as a paid copier for public use, and a free book/book sale room. The library is modern and spacious and has a quiet but lively atmosphere. In its current building since July 2010, the library has been serving the Hudson community from other locations since the early 1900s.
