More About River Crest Elementary School
River Crest Elementary School is south of the city on County Road F. Built in 2008, it is the newest school building in the district. The building has specially designed areas for picking up and dropping off students and a full playground with basketball courts and baseball fields.

Which agenda item are you hot about? Is it the request and consideration to add three properties from Somerset and New Richmond into the HSD? As if we need more students in our district. Is it the investigation of UU, which should have been done prior to the dog track mess, knowing that when the city says no to water and sewer the HSD will then tell us they have to sell it and look for other property? Remember, we were told it was not buildable. Is it the addition of other options to consider for a building? I thought the board decided on three options and disbanded the Citizen's Committee because they had already chosen three? Where did these other two options come from? And what about public input? Is it the choosing of Hoffman and Co. to be the architect for whatever plan the board decides? Or is it the closed session to consider the super's compensation, opening again in open session where you can bet she will be given a big raise. Well, that's nice, that will add to the 930,000 that the board spent on wage increases district wide at the Dec. and Jan meeting. I wonder if their goal is to spend all of the 1.2 million saved on health insurance premiums thanks to ACT 10. Sure looks like it to me. If these items mean anything to you, vote on Feb. 19 and April 3 and vote Kunz. A vote for Johnson or Hanson will not put a stop to this kind of stupidity.

Election dates are Feb. 19 and April 2. If you vote on April 3, your vote won't count.

Truthometer, You are Correct Sir! Kunz for School Board....

How will a vote for Kunz stop the need to build more space for a growing district? You could have 7 sandy Gerhke clones on the board and a new superentendant and it won't change the need. I do agree that it is time that we spend yet more tax money to get yet another report about uu. This time Sandy is forced to be part of the process. Can't wait to see the cost of a stem school for 700 kids that only addresses our needs short term with no room for expansion. I look forward to the city addressing water and sewer

Here we go again.... Do a poor job and get promoted with more pay and less work...
Who is he in bed with?
Granbow was a bad teacher at EP; Got promoted to be a bad Prinicpal at Willow; Got a newly created job at district in a systems improvement job... NOW promoted again Systems Improvement Director?
What a crock!!!

For those of you interested in the superintendent's pay raise, here's a post I just finished with some analysis of numbers from comparative districts, including a calculation of "cost of superintendent per pupil": http://hudson-wi.patch.com/articles/hudson-school-board-grants-superintendent-13-000-pay-raise
