City of Hudson Asks Residents for Help Watering Boulevard Trees
A general rule of thumb is to use about 10 gallons of water per inch of trunk diameter for each watering.
Due to the extreme dry conditions, the city of Hudson Public Works Department is asking residents to water the boulevard trees that have been planted in the last few years.
A general rule of thumb is to use about 10 gallons of water per inch of trunk diameter for each watering.
The city suggests residents measure the tree at knee height to get the diameter. When you have the diameter, multiply it by five minutes to get a total watering time.
