'Dangerously Cold Wind Chills Continue'

National Weather Service advisory extends overnight for Hudson.

In Hudson, watch out for wind chills through Thursday morning, the National Weather Service warned in an advisory issued at 3:33 a.m. Wednesday: 

"Dangerously cold wind chill values will continue through tonight with values between 25 below and 35 below common. Highs today will range from the single digits below zero to zero. Temperatures will then vary considerably tonight, with temperatures falling to the teens below zero in far eastern MN into western WI, while temperatures rise overnight to the single digits above zero in far western MN. A weak clipper system driving through the region tonight will produce up to a half inch of new snow, mainly in far eastern MN into western WI."

At the same time, the NWS issued a Wind Chill Warning for areas just north of St. Croix County, including Polk County. 

Wednesday will be sunny but cold in Hudson, with a predicted high temperature of -1 °F and a northwest wind of about 10 mph before it becomes a west southwest wind in the afternoon. 

Thursday is looking warmer: mostly cloudy, with a high of 17.
