Advent Series at Faith Community Church Features Original Paintings by Local Artist

An Advent Series entitled, “Miraculous: The God Who Interferes” begins on Sunday, Dec. 1, at 9 and 11 a.m. at Faith Community Church, 777 Carmichael Road. Each Sunday of the series, an original painting by local artist, Nicky Gunnlaugsson, will be revealed to help further illustrate the sermon’s message.

On the final Sunday of Advent, Dec. 22, Gunnlaugsson will create a painting during the worship gathering. All the paintings from the series will be displayed at FCC’s Christmas Eve Services, scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 24, at 4, 6 and 11 p.m. Child care is available through age 5 each Sunday morning and also at the 4 and 6 p.m. services on Christmas Eve.
