History Tour Date Changed to October 7th – Volunteers Needed

St. Croix County Historical Society’s Annual 8th Grade Hudson History Tour has been moved to Monday, October 7th, due to the predicted rain. With the date changed (from the previous Friday) we are in need of some additional volunteers. The Day’s activities include a walking tour for students in the morning followed by history booths and activities at Lakefront Park in the afternoon. This is a short notice but the volunteer positions are easy and require very little preparation.

Volunteers are needed from 8:00 a.m. to noon to help with the walking tour. This would require reading a 2 to 3 minute script to 15 different groups of students. Afternoon volunteers are needed from noon to 2:30 p.m. to read scripts or help at the history booth activities. Volunteers will receive training and instructions.

Anyone who can volunteer to help is welcome and appreciated. You don’t need to be a history buff to volunteer. Scripts and background information will be provided.
