Get Out in Hudson

Hudson's weekend entertainment guide to Texan musicians, the Scottish and carnivals.

Thursday, the one day Hudson Patch loves telling you what to do.




When: Friday, Sept. 9 & Saturday, Sept. 10 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Hudson Community
Why Go: The 75 participating locations can be found on a map in the Sept. 7 Hudson Star Observer. Look for the yellow Hudson Lions Garage Sale signs.
Price: Dependent on what types of treasures you find.




When: Friday, Sept. 9 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Where:
Why Go: Live southern soul straight from Austin, Texas.
Price: No cover charge




When: Saturday, Sept. 10 from 9:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: The 6th annual festival will be complete with bagpipes, Celtic music, historical encampment performances, authentic Scottish food, crafts, kids games and more.
Price: Free Admission




When: Saturday, Sept. 10 from 12 to 4 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: Help support the Hudson Soccer Association programs and take the kids over for an afternoon of carnival games, food and face painting.




When: Sunday, Sept. 11 from 12 to 2 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: Community members are invited to celebrate Rally Day with games, prizes, music and food.
Price: Free
