PHOTOS: Ice Fishing in Hudson on a 60-Degree Day

One brave ice-fisherman was on Lake Mallalieu at sunset on Saturday—a day that saw a high temperature of 64 degrees.

According to the National Weather Service, the air temperature topped out at 64 degrees between 3 and 4 p.m. on Saturday, officially making it the first 60-degree day of the year. According to The Weather Channel, to the temperature broke the March 10 record for the warmest day in Hudson. The previous record was 57 degrees in 1977.

The afternoon's high temperatures didn't stop one man from venturing out onto frozen Lake Mallalieu at about 6 p.m. for some ice fishing.
