High Tea with special appearance by local food expert Beth Dooley

Beth Dooley will be signing copies of her new book The Northern Heartland Kitchen from 12-2 at the bookstore. She will also be the guest speaker at Urban Olive and Vine from 2-4 for their High Tea event. Tickets for tea are $15 by calling 715-386-0400.Tea will also be available a la carte.

 Beth Dooley has covered the local food scene in the Northern Heartland for twenty-five years: she is the restaurant critic for Mpls.St.Paul Magazine, writes for the Taste section of the Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune, and appears regularly on KARE 11 (NBC) television in the Twin Cities. She is author of The Northern Heartland Kitchen (University of Minnesota Press, 2011) and coauthor with Lucia Watson of Savoring the Seasons of the Northern Heartland (University of Minnesota Press, 2004), among other books. Beth also teaches cooking classes at the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. She lives in Minneapolis with her husband and three sons.
