Friends of the Hudson Library is sponsoring a poetry reading by LaMoine MacLaughlin at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, May 10th. MacLaughlin is co-founder and Executive Director of the Northern Lakes Center for the Arts and the Northern Lakes School of the Arts located in Amery, WI. He is the first Poet Laureate of Amery. He will be reading from his newly published collection of poems, A Scent of Lilac. MacLaughlin's book will be available for sale and signing. The presentation will be at the Hudson Area Joint Library, 700 First Street (corner of First and Vine). Admission is free.
