Update: Parole and Probation Building Smashed by Vehicle, Set on Fire

Update: Hudson Police believe the incident at the Probation and Parole building in the St. Croix Business Park occurred between 5:10-6:25 a.m. when it was reported to police.

"It is believed the vehicle drove front first into the front doors," Hudson Police Chief Marty Jensen said. "We are asking anyone that might have been in this area between these times and might have seen a vehicle with front-end damage, or having glass all over its hood, to contact the Hudson Police Department."
The Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigations and the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office are assisting in the investigation.
Original Post: The Hudson Police Department is asking the public for help identifying suspect(s) who smashed a vehicle through the front door of the Probation and Parole building Monday morning and then set the building on fire.
On Monday June 3, 2013 between 6:15 and 6:25 a.m. unknown subject(s) used a vehicle to smash the front doors to the offices of Probation and Parole, Hudson Police Chief Marty Jensen said. The office is housed in the state's Community Corrections Offices building located at 2100 O’Neil Road in the St. Croix Business Park.
After smashing the front doors a device was thrown into the front foyer, which started a fire, the chief said. The fire was quickly put out by the sprinkler system; however, there was severe damage to the foyer and some adjoining rooms.
The suspect(s) also slashed the tires on several state vehicles parked near this entrance of the building.
If anyone has information about this incident or saw something suspicious in this area during these times, you are asked to call the Hudson Police Department at 715-386-4771.
