Will Home Buyer Activity Increase in Hudson as Uline Opens This Summer?

Uline is scheduled to open this coming summer in Hudson. It is estimated that 150 jobs will transfer to Hudson, and another 25 new jobs will open. As we near the opening of the new building in Hudson will these employees decide to relocate form Eagan, or will they simply commute in? 

These numbers may not seem that large, but with the inventory of homes for sale in Hudson already getting slim for the amount of interested buyers this may have an even bigger effect on the inventory levels. 

On a positive point, if inventory levels decrease even more, this would likely improve the already stronger market of Hudson and the surrounding areas. Sellers could see stronger pricing, shorter days on market, and an overall strengthening sellers market. 

The price range most affected by the new Uline building would be in the 200K to 300K price range, based on the pay scale reported on the positions that would be brought to Hudson. 

The effects of the transition from Eagan to Hudson will be interesting to watch this coming Spring and Summer.
