Craft Beer Here: Pitchfork, Hudson's Newest Brewery, Opens Sunday

Hudson's newest Brewery, Pitchfork Brewing, will open Sunday, Aug. 4 at noon. The taproom is located just off of I-94 next to Paddy Ryan's Irish Pub and Restaurant.

Pitchfork Brewing is opening Sunday, Aug. 4 at noon. 

Hudson's newest brewery is setting out to make craft beers with a focus on high quality, locally-sourced ingredients and an environmentally-friendly business model.

The taproom will feature a variety of beers on tap as well as specialty firkins. In addition to stopping by for a pint, grab a bite at Paddy Ryan's Irish Pub next door, and take home a growler for later.

To start, the taproom hour will be:

  • Monday Closed
  • Tuesday Closed
  • Wednesday 3-8 p.m.
  • Thursday 3-8 p.m.
  • Friday 3-10 p.m.
  • Saturday 12-10 p.m.
  • Sunday 12-5 p.m.
Pitchfork Brewing is located just off of I-94 next to Paddy Ryan's Irish Pub and Restaurant.

Their taproom will offer Pitchfork Pale ale, Outwitted, American Gothic IPA, a German pilsner root beer, and a variety of rotating beers from Brewmaster Mike Fredricksen’s long list of homebrews.

Back in April, Pitchfork held a beer-naming contest. Here’s a list of winners from that contest, and some of the beers that may be in the taproom on opening day:
