The University of Wisconsin Marching Band will play Thursday morning at Kozy Korner in North Hudson.

The band is making a stop at Kozy Korner before heading to St. Paul for the WCHA Final Five.

Kozy Korner will be opening at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Ryan Nelson, co-owner of the Kozy Korner said. The band is expected to stop by and play for about 30 minutes between 10-11 a.m. on Thursday.

Over the years, Kozy Korner has developed a relationship with the marching band, Nelson said. On their way to the tournament, they come up and eat, and then play some music for the general public to enjoy.

“We just want people to see it,” he said. “It’s pretty neat to watch the Badgers Marching Band play in North Hudson, instead of us going to Madison.”

The UW Band will also be performing at Kozy on there way home. If UW Hockey loses on Thursday - They will play at 9 Friday Morning. If UW Hockey loses on Friday - They will play at 7 Friday Night. If UW plays in the Championship Game - They will play at 11 Saturday Night. Hopefully people can make it. Its a very unique experience.
