The University of Wisconsin Marching Band will play Thursday morning at Kozy Korner in North Hudson.
The band is making a stop at Kozy Korner before heading to St. Paul for the WCHA Final Five.
Kozy Korner will be opening at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Ryan Nelson, co-owner of the Kozy Korner said. The band is expected to stop by and play for about 30 minutes between 10-11 a.m. on Thursday.
Over the years, Kozy Korner has developed a relationship with the marching band, Nelson said. On their way to the tournament, they come up and eat, and then play some music for the general public to enjoy.
“We just want people to see it,” he said. “It’s pretty neat to watch the Badgers Marching Band play in North Hudson, instead of us going to Madison.”
