What Should Go Here?: Nor-Lake Building

Welcome to our new weekly feature where we take a look at a vacant property and ask the community what should go there. What's your vision for this week's space? Let us know in the comments.

For our inaugural "What Should Go Here?" feature, we'll take a look at the old Nor-Lake building on First Street.

According to Greystone Commercial, the property is 0.6 acres on a gentle slope and it's zoned for residential use. The property includes a 10,608 two-story building that was built in the 1950s, along with a parking area. The asking price is $1.25 million.

So, the question remains: What should go here? Perhaps an upscale restaurant with a riverfront patio? What about loft-style luxury apartments? Maybe you'd like to see the City of Hudson purchase it to build a community center or just extend Lakefront Park. Tell us in the comments.
