Hudson Thrivent Financial Representatives Earn CLTC Designation

Hudson, WI (June 5, 2013) — Bjorn T. Nesvold, FIC, CLTC, Tracy E. Berglund, FIC CLTC, and Chad M. Carlson, CLTC Financial Representatives with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans in Hudson, WI, recently earned the Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC) designation from the Corporation for Long-Term Care Certification. Nesvold, Berglund and Carlson serve members in Hudson and surrounding areas and are part of the Eastern MN / Northwest WI Regional Financial Office of Thrivent Financial. The eight-part multi-disciplinary CLTC course covers the continuum of care, housing and services people might need during their lifetime. Participants are provided the information and training needed to offer guidance to families on a range of issues including home care, assisted living, nursing homes, social services, taxes, law and most important, what will pay for these resources. It teaches participants how to help solve clients’ long-term care needs. “Many of our clients have experienced the devastating effects chronic illness has on their families,” said Nesvold. “One of our responsibilities as a financial representative is to help solve our clients’ long-term care needs. That includes explaining government programs, such as Medicare and Medicaid.
