Good idea, George. The population of the United States in 1789, was less than 4,000,000 people whoRead More lived in a narrow strip of land along the Atlantic Seaboard. Today the United States is a Continental sized country plus Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. It has a population of around 315,000,000 people, which is more than 80 times that population. The US has a defense budget of around $1,000,000,000,000 annually including the NASA, CIA, etc. So, of course we should run it like the Founders did in 1789. So, I suggest we get rid of all of our highways, airports, the Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard as they didn't have any of these things. All of the Cell towers should come down, cable TV networks dismantled and the Internet shut down. Since we won't have highways any longer, all of our cars should be melted down. The ideas of the 18th Century were fine for the 18th Century; however they don't work so very swell in the 21st Century. Welcome to it.

Thats what I said? I don't think so but I guess you are the genius. Do you think we can't cutRead More wasteful spending without killing the monster. Citizens are to monitor and Limit Government not the other way around. You got some good training, hope you are paid well enough to pay more in taxes.

Liberals are such idiots. Captain like his ilk completely ignore the free crap and wastefulRead More spending that goes to their voting base. Phones, food, housing, clothing, smokes, drugs, education, disability. They like to bring up the obvious spending, protection, and what we as drivers pay into, highways.
