At about 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, Hudson officers were called to aid St. Croix County Sheriff's deputies at Willow River State Park, where skeletal remains had been discovered.

Jeffrey R. Westling has been charged with a felony count of attempted burglary at a home in the 800 block of Wisconsin Street as a woman hid in her basement with a loaded shotgun.
Work began earlier this month at the site next to Culver's. The new Walgreens drug store should be built in about six months, according to the developer.
A visit with Jerry Gilbert of Hudson's Valley Cartage, who is a recipient of this year's Hudson High School Distinguished Alumni Award, brings back memories of working in the trucking industry.
