Hudson Patch Week in Review: July 3, 2011

This week brought a leadership opportunity to a Hudson resident, WPR interviews for Moore and Weix, a new Miss Hudson, scorching temperatures and a campaign-trail parade.

The Wisconsin Faith & Freedom Coalition issued a press release on Monday to launch its organization, which intends to play a role in this summer's recall elections.

Kelsey Robertson was named 2011 Miss Hudson while princesses Aaliyah Burgess, Audrey Oglesby and Kelsey Simms were also crowned.

The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for the Hudson area from noon-8 p.m. on Friday.

Sen. Shelia Harsdorf and Shelly Moore supporters walked in the Hudson Booster Days parade 10 days prior to the Wisconsin 10th Senate District recall primary election.
