Since 1995 the club has donated a half million dollars to various non-profit and charitable organizations, the vast majority of which are in the local community.

The raffle is a community event with Rotary members selling tickets, local Hudson merchants chipping in and housing the car for a few weeks and selling tickets in support of Rotary. Those merchants included County Market, Family Fresh, Freedom on the Hill, and Mike's BP. The car was provided by Hudson Ford Mercury.
