Two Injured in Crash East of Hudson on I-94

Two Roberts women were injured in the crash and were taken to Regions Hospital.

UPDATE (7:45 p.m.): Wisconsin State Patrol has released the names of the injured parties. Jennifer J. Lang, 37, of Roberts, was driving a 2007 Chevy Aveo involved in the crash and sustained non-life threatening injuries. Passenger Jeanne G. Lang, 59, of Roberts, sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash. Both women were wearing their seat belts and were taken to Regions Hospital.

At 11:41 AM on Saturday October 29, 2011 a crash occurred on I-94 WB at MILE POST 6 in ST. CROIX County near HUDSON.

Assisting agencies included , & , , and Life Link Helicopter.

The crash involved 2 injuries. Vehicle and occupant information, if available, is on attached page(s). The details of the crash are as follows:

The WI State Patrol received a report of a one vehicle rollover on I-94 westbound at milepost 6 in St. Croix County, Warren Township at 11:41 a.m. this morning. The driver and passenger of the vehicle were transported to Regions hospital with unspecified injuries. Names are being withheld at this time. The crash remains under investigation.Β

UPDATE (1:15 p.m.): The scene was cleared and traffic was back to normal speed at 12:58 p.m., according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

The Wisconsin State Patrol is reporting that a crash in the median at westbound Interstate 94 mile post 6. All westbound traffic was blocked while an emergency helicopter landed at the scene.

The incident was reported at 11:47 a.m., and the is handling the scene. At about 12:40 a.m., the westbound lanes were reopened, but traffic is backed up about four miles to Exit 10.
