TRAFFIC: Downed Utility Pole Re-routes Traffic in North Hudson
The village is routing traffic around around the site via Michaelson Street North, Eighth Street North and Sommers Street North.
A portion of Highway 35 was closed in the village of North Hudson late on Wednesday night after a crash left a utility pole damaged, according to a village employee.
Brian Frye of North Hudson Public Works said a crash in the 600 block of Sixth Street North left the pole damaged and village police and public works employees set up a detour until a crew from Xcel Energy could make repairs.
Frye set up detour signs to route traffic from Highway 35 (Sixth Street North) to Michaelson Street North, Eighth Street North and Sommers Street North.
