TRAFFIC: Multi-Vehicle Crash Blocks All Westbound Lanes on I-94

Traffic was backed up about three miles. Cars are exiting at Exit 4 and taking alternate routes across the St. Croix River.

According to a news release from the Wisconsin State Patrol (WSP), a multiple-vehicle crash at mile post 1 on westbound Interstate 94 shut down all westbound lanes of the freeway for about 45 minutes on Monday morning.

The crash occurred at about 7:40 a.m. Traffic was backed up past Exit 3. Cars were using Exit 4 and taking alternate routes across the St. Croix River.

According to the WSP release, all lanes were re-opened to traffic at 8:23 a.m.
