VIDEO: Fatal Crash, Freedom Robbery, Halos of Hudson - Hudson Patch Live

Hudson Patch Editor Micheal Foley talks about the top stories of the week on Hudson Patch Live sponsored by The Agave Kitchen.

We're trying something new — a live video webcast sponsored by — and we're calling it Hudson Patch Live.

We went live from the conference room at just after 1 p.m. on Thursday. In the inaugural webcast, I'm joined by Woodbury Patch Editor Kris Janisch and we chat about the following stories:

I'm going to try to make this a regular thing with a weekly guest, and comments, questions and reactions from viewers.

Let me know what you think in the comments below, but be kind. It's just the first episode, and I'm aware of the audio mistakes I made. Next week tune in live (lunchtime on Thursdays) to react in real time with your tweets (#HudsonPatchLive) and Facebook posts.

By the way, we also shot at 12:30 p.m. today, and it went much better than Hudson's. ... and it was way, way, way better than our shoddy first episode last week!

Dang. The audio echo is my fault. I had two mic inputs when I should have had just one. I'm chalking it up as a learning experience. :-)

We also shot Woodbury Patch Live, and that went nearly perfect: http://patch.com/A-wNdt

Would you consider doing something like this in the evening for us working stiffs who can't access such sessions during the day?

You can always watch the archived version and leave your comments after the fact. I'll happily address them in the next episode.
