The Afton Area Business Association is pleased to host the third annual “Trick or
Treat Trail” On Saturday, October 26, from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. Kids are invited to follow St. Croix Trail through the historic town of Afton, MN from Sail Away Café to Selma’s Ice Cream Parlour, for a fun and free Halloween event.
Children will visit 18 participating shops, businesses and restaurants to collect free treats plus enjoy fall activities such as pumpkin decorating, Halloween crafts, a spooky art studio, ghostly games, free hot cocoa more. And NEW this year, Selma’s Ice SCREAM Parlour will host a kids scream contest at 11:30 am, 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm. Children will show off their loudest shrieks and screeches for the chance to win FREE ICE CREAM (yes, they will “scream for ice cream!”).
Complete schedules are available at participating merchants. This non-scary event is best suited for children ages 10 and under. Costumes are encouraged.
