DSLR Beginning Photography Class

The Digital SLR (DSLR) camera can be a bit overwhelming for the beginner and even for those coming from years of using film cameras. The goal of this class is to present the basics of DSLR photography. There will be a cursory review of gear, settings, composition and light as well as post processing options. You will leave the class with a basic understanding of digital photography -both the technical and craft associated with it. This class is a great first step in being able to use and see the camera as a tool that can help you capture your own artistic vision.

The class will be held October 10 at the Hudson Library, room 219 at 6:00 p.m.  The class is limited to the first 12 people that sign up. You are encouraged to bring your DSLR camera. Instructors will be Michael Huber, current President of the Western Wisconsin Photography Club and award winning photographer Jeff Bucklew, whose work can be seen in galleries across Wisconsin.
