Masked Fairytale Production Grades 1-3 @ The Phipps
January 19th - February 9th, 2013
Students will develop a ten-minute performance based on popular fairy tales. On the first day, the actors will each make their own masks for the characters they choose to portray in the story. Participants will learn how to perform with these masks and develop the story together. On the final day of the class, family and friends will be invited to see the tale the actors have created together. During the process, students will learn some theater warm-ups and team-building games, which will also be demonstrated on the final day.
