What is a Hackathon? A hackathon
is an event where people from a variety of backgrounds and technology interests collaborate intensively to develop projects in
a short time-span. What does it cost:
The event is FREE! The only

thing participants need to
do
is participate. We
will provide meals, beverages, and snacks.

We have reserved rooms

at a reduced rate at the St James Hotel
and Nichols Inn and Suites. Mention "Red Hot Hack" for discount. Scholarships available. Commuters welcomed!What to bring: Laptop, chargers,
mobile phones, tablets, and
creative ideas. We provide
Ethernet, cables, Wi-Fi, and virtual
server for teams.               What type of ideas / solutions and applications we will work
with
: Applications
focused on education, public safety, healthcare, advanced

manufacturing, energy,
and
transportation; create projects and applications that
make use of our gigabit broadband.
