Community Corner

River Crest Elementary School volunteer conservation event

Volunteers are needed work alongside the River Crest

Elementary School

community to clear buckthorn and engage young people in stewardship.

Come out and help the k-5th graders enjoy another year of learning!

School is starting early in Hudson,
at least for a day, in the outdoor class room of the LEED Gold certified River Crest  Elementary School. As its
name indicates, River Crest is located on the St. Croix  River, on a beautiful, triangular site landscaped with native and  adaptive vegetation to promote bio-diversity. The outdoor classroom helps  teach students about the environment and how protect it.

Lunch is provided. All ages welcome, children must be supervised.

Pre-registration is required, sign up at www.greatrivergreening.org.
