SAINT PATRICK PARISH FALL FESTIVAL  September 20 - 22
Come enjoy the fun, food and entertainment this weekend at
the Saint Patrick Fall Festival

Saint Patrick Parish will be holding their annual Fall Festival September 20 – 22.   The three-day festival is packed with activities for the whole family.  The festival kicks off at 5pm on Friday.  On Friday night guests are invited to enjoy a bowl of booya and settle in for an evening of comedy.  Local comedians take the stage at 7:30 and nationally renowned comedian, Scott Novotny comes on at 8:30.  Scott brought down the house last year with his wry, comedic, take on everyday situations and events.  His unique, family-friendly, stand-up comedy routine is sure to be a hit again this year.

Saturday is packed with activities, starting with the 5k race at 9am (registration is on Friday night and Saturday morning beginning at 7:30 am).  There’s also a kid’s ½ mile race that begins at 10:15.  Saturday’s activities include: kids’ games and crafts, a fair hair booth, inflatables, an appearance by the August Blues Band, the dunk tank, a euchre tournament, the talent show, pony-wagon rides, a soccer challenge, and the punt, pass and kick skills competition, a silent auction, the country store, judging for the dessert auction, raffle ticket sales, the food and beer tent that features the ever popular, fried cheese curds.  Food and entertainment once again take center stage on Saturday night as the parish hosts their first ever, authentic, Greek Chicken Dinner.  OPA!  The dinner features, slow-roasted, Greek spice infused, chicken, rice, Greek salad, feta and olives, pita bread, baklava, ice cream and beverages.  From 6:30 – 10:30 local musicians, from the Screamin’ Deans Band, the Altar Egos and special guests, The Soul Men (a.k.a. Fr. John Gerritts and Fr. Patrick McConnell) will have the tent rockin!

On Sunday a delectable brunch will be served from 8am – 11am.  Around noon festivities will begin to wrap up with a live auction that includes dinner compliments of Fr. John and Fr. Patrick as well as the award-winning desserts.  Then keep your fingers crossed as bidding will draw to a close on the silent auction and raffle tickets will be drawn for the large raffle.
