Mom Sells Kids' Art to Pay for Playground in Memory of Schaffhausen Girls

The River Falls mother of three girls murdered by their father is putting her daughters' art on sale to raise money for a new playground in their memory. 

The grand opening for the exhibit that Jessica Schaffhausen organized was set for Friday, Aug. 9, 4–8 p.m., at Gallery 120 in River Falls, KARE 11 reported, and is on view Tuesdays–Fridays, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. and Saturdays, 10 a.m.–3 p.m. An online auction is in the works. 

The St. Paul Pioneer Press has an extensive online gallery of photographs from the exhibit.
