In the first game, Hudson took a 6-0 lead before Proctor scored at the end of the first quarter.  Junior Henrik Wiesemeyer, and sophomores Brady Minch and Carter Schuett each scored one goal while senior McKay Potter scored three. Hudson led 6-1 after one quarter.

Potter opened the second quarter with 2 more goals for a total of 5 for the game.  Then the raiders really started spreading the ball around and giving everyone some playing time.  A total of 12 different Raiders would score to lead Proctor 19-1 before Proctor scored 2 goals at the end of the fourth quarter for a final score of 19-3.

Also scoring for Hudson were sophomore Will Reece with 3 goals and junior Adam Lipps with 2.  Scoring one goal each were sophomores Rusty Selliris and Trevor Quade, juniors Leo Murray, Joey Hernandez and Alex Queener, and senior Nick Smith.

In the second game, Duluth scored first to lead by one.  Hudson’s Hernandez answered with a goal off an assist by Potter to tie the game 1-1.  Then an aggressive Duluth team shut down the Hudson offense, rarely allowing the Raiders to advance the ball out of their own half of the field.  Duluth scored twice to end the first quarter with a score of 1-3.

Duluth scored 3 more unanswered points to open the second quarter and led 1 – 6.  Hudson came alive at the end of the second quarter and halted the Duluth scoring machine long enough for Hudson’s Wiesemeyer and Reece to each score a goal to end the first half with a score of 3-6 and the momentum seemingly in Hudson’s favor.

Hopes of a comeback were all but dashed, however, when Duluth started the second half with 3 unanswered goals and a 3-9 lead.  Wiesemeyer scored his second and Hudson’s final goal for a score of 4-9.  Duluth scored again to end the third quarter 4-10.

Hudson was also plagued with penalty problems.  At one point in the fourth quarter, the Raiders had 3 players in the penalty box at one time, the result of two on-field infractions and one technical against the coach.  Duluth scored easily while up by three men, and added two more goals for a final score of 4-13.
