Michael R. McLuen, 66, of Hudson, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at The Pillars Hospice Home of Oakdale, MN.
Mike worked for Ruan, Space Center, and 3M before buying and operating his own business, Trailermasters, Inc., selling all kinds of new and used over-the-road transport and storage trailers. When not at work, Mike could be found outdoors, doing what he loved - hunting and fishing! It didn’t matter if it was fishing for halibut in Alaska, salmon and trout in Lake Michigan, or hunting duck, pheasants, deer, elk, or antelope, Mike loved to hunt and fish. Mike also golfed, and was in his domain behind the grill among his family and friends. Mike had a great sense of humor, and could be relied on as the jokester and story teller. His loved ones fondly recall his infamous “McLuen dance” and how much he enjoyed being a grandpa. He will be missed by the many that knew and loved him.
Celebration of Life services for Mike McLuen will be held at noon on Sunday, Dec. 16, at O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson. Visitation will immediately follow the service until 3 p.m.
