In Loving Memory of Steven Lindstrom

Steven John Lindstrom, age 59, of Hudson, WI, died suddenly on February 2, 2014.  Steve was born on March 18, 1954 to Gwain and Lucille (Mueller) Lindstrom in Oakland, CA.  A part of a military family, Steve saw much of the country due to moving to various assignments, however the Lindstrom family considered Bruno, MN their home.  Upon graduation from high school, Steve joined the US Marine Corps.  He served in the infantry where he earned the rank of corporal.  During his time in the USMC he was stationed in the Philippines during the Vietnam War.  After his time in the Marines, he returned home and found work at Andersen Windows in Bayport, MN.  It was during this time that he met Debbie Johnson.  The two were united in marriage in 1989.  The marriage would be blessed with 3 children, Joshua, Jamie, and Jacob.  In 2000 the marriage dissolved.  Steve remained in the Hudson area where he worked various jobs including Express Lube and Rental.  His favorite times were those spent with and supporting his kid's activities.
Steve is survived by his children, Joshua of Bismarck, ND, Jamie of Cedar Falls, IA, and Jacob of Hudson, WI; sister, Susie and brother, Jimmy, both of Missouri and many friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mike.
A Memorial Service for Steve will take place at 3pm on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson, WI.  A time of visitation will take place from after the service until 7pm.  Burial with military honors will be held privately at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.  Services are in the care of the O’Connell Family Funeral Home - Hudson, WI.  715.386.3725
