Joel A. Massey, age 61, of Hudson, WI, passed away on January 11, 2014 at the Christian Community Home in Hudson.
He is survived by his children: Paula Humbard of New Ulm, MN, Lee Massey of Somerset, WI, and Thomas (Nicole) Massey of Hudson, WI; grandchildren: Lauren & Brenden Humbard, Sydney & Brandt Massey, and Camryn Massey; siblings: Tim Massey, Sandee (Keith) Simpson, William “Bill” (Pam) Massey, Amy (John) Gerber, and Jeff (Vera) Massey; along with many extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, William.
A visitation for Joel will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1500 Vine St., Hudson, with a visitation 1 hour prior to the Mass at church. Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in Bayport, MN.
