Ever stop dead in your tracks and ask yourself, “now what
was I doing?” My business is going well,
I’m on track with my goals but I just can’t seem to launch this new idea. I start beating myself up and, and wonder: “If I only had another brain to get outside
of my own head!”
This is when the brainstorming comes in. It’s a creative technique to gather a list of ideas in a spontaneous manner. You get to think outside the box, get another person’s perspective and use new positive energy and be results focused. We all
need someone else to help us eliminate our blind spots. Two brains are always better than one by working with others we can stimulate the building of new ideas.
So when we get stuck, it’s time to call in a colleague, someone trusted. Agree upon ground rules and time constraints. List your top priorities and review all possibilities. Narrow down the ideas to attainable actions. Then schedule a follow-up meeting to review achievements and celebrate successes.
