Hudson Police Blotter: Unoccupied Vehicle Rolls Into Street, Knocks Down Sign

An unoccupied vehicle owned by Ned L. Schuler, of St. Paul, MN, knocked down a City of Hudson directional street sign in the median at Second Street and Coulee Road on Jan. 8, 2011. Schuler said he left the vehicle in neutral while he went into  gas station. The vehicle rolled out of the parking lot, crossed both northbound lands of Second Street and collided with the sign in the median.

Meredith A. Senich, of Hudson, and Roderick K. Bahr, of Menomonie, were involved in an auto accident at 11th Street and Coulee Road. Bahr was cited with failure to yield right of way and inattentive driving.

According to witness statements,  a vehicle driven by an unknown person struck a building at Second Street and Locust Street. Robert W. Gaisbauer, of Hudson, was later cited with failure to report an accident and operating a motor vehicle without proof of insurance.

Arthur N. Hakola, of River Falls, and Brittany M. Keller, of Becker, MN, were involved in an auto accident at Crest View Drive and Gateway Boulevard. Hakola was cited with failure to yield right of way. Keller and a passenger in Hakola's vehicle, Jeffry A. Lervik, of River Falls, were injured in the accident.
