Hudson Police Department Swears in Two New Sergeants

Newly promoted Sgt. Peter Schultz and Sgt. Geoffrey Willems were sworn in before the Hudson Common Council meeting on Monday, Jan. 28.

The City of Hudson swore in two newly promoted sergeants on the Hudson Police force on Monday evening at City Hall just before the Hudson Common Council meeting.

"We're looking forward to having both sergeants out on the street and supervising," said Hudson Police Chief Marty Jensen.

Sgt. Peter Schultz 
"Sgt. Scultz is a 22-year member of the Hudson Police Department," Jensen said. "He is currently our school resource officer, but that will be changing at the end of the school year."

Sgt. Geoffrey Willems
"Sgt. Willems has been with our department for six years, but prior to that he was with North Hudson, so he's been in our community for 11 years," Jensen said. "He's currently my detective sergeant."
