Here is the full Hudson Police Department press release about the shooting of three people outside Spirit Seller Liquors Sunday morning:

On January 19, 2014 at approximately 9:22 am, officers from the Hudson Police Department and deputies from the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of shots fired at 203 Second Street in the City of Hudson, WI.  This is the address to the River City Center complex.  When officers arrived they found that three people had been shot; two men and one woman.  All three were transported by ambulance to Regions Hospital where there condition is currently unknown.

Witnesses to this shooting stated a tan or gray color late 90’s model Cadillac had been involved in this incident and that it had left the scene heading south towards I-94.  This Cadillac had chrome rims and a Cadillac emblem on the hood.  This vehicle was reported to have two black male occupants.  Based on this information an alert was sent out to neighboring MN to keep an eye out for this vehicle.

At approximately 10:29 am an Egan officer spotted a possible vehicle and suspects, matching this description, heading southbound on I-494.  This vehicle was followed into Bloomington MN where it ended up stopping in the parking lot of the Hampton Inn near the Mall of America.  When officers approached this vehicle it was found abandoned.  The two suspects were later apprehended a short distance from this hotel.  It was later learned that these suspects had entered the hotel prior to being stopped and had placed possible evidence in the hotel.  This evidence was recovered by Bloomington PD.  This vehicle, and the possible evidence found in the hotel, has been turned over to Hudson PD.  Bloomington PD is currently holding these suspects at the request of Hudson PD.

Detectives from the Hudson Police Department are currently interviewing the victims of this incident.  Information regarding the victims and suspects will be given out at a later time.
