Hudson police are searching for a person who made threats at First State Bank and Trust in downtown Thursday morning, and made off with “a substantial amount of cash,” according to Police Chief Marty Jensen.

Police first learned of the robbery at about 10:47 a.m., Jensen said. The bank was robbed by a lone woman, described as a Hispanic woman with a thin build, about 5’8” tall and wearing black and green clothing, sunglasses and a hat.

The woman entered the bank and handed a note to one of the tellers demanding money, Jensen said. The note stated that the woman had a weapon, but none was displayed.
