Schaffhausen Trial to Stay in Hudson; Judge Allows Late Insanity Plea
The man accused of brutally killing his three daughters in River Falls last year will stand trial in Hudson, and he has entered an insanity plea.
Aaron Schaffhausen, the man accused of slaying his three daughters in River Falls last year, will stand trial in St. Croix County.
Judge Howard Cameron ruled on Thursday to keep the case in Hudson rather than moving it to another county court.
Cameron also accepted an insanity plea from the defendant on Thursday despite setting a deadline more than a month ago for such a plea.
